Workshop on ENT & Bronchoscopy organized at Gandhinagar Hospital, CCL

Today, on 27 July, workshop on ENT and Bronchoscopy was organized at Central Hospital, Gandhinagar, CCL. More than 70 medical practitioners from Ranchi and different subsidiaries of Coal India, including CCL participated in the workshop. The workshop was conducted under the aegis Dr. Rajesh Vishwakarma from BJ Medical College, Ahmadabad, Dr. Sanjay Sachdeva from Max Hospital, Delhi and Dr. Rajdhar from Fortis Hospital, Kolkata. 

Chief guest of the workshop, Director (Personnel), CCL Shri R S Mahapatra while welcoming the renowned expert doctors across the country, said that it is a indeed a privilege for all the participants, that the renowned specialist doctor from across the country has agreed to participate and demonstrate the nitty-gritty of the given subject through live operation. Shri Mahapatro said that he is sure that all the members of the CCL extended family will be benefited from this workshop eventually as people are often diagnosed with respiratory and ENT related diseases in the mines area. Shri Mahapatro appreciated CMS, CCL Dr. R.R. Sinha, CMO, Gandhinagar, Dr. C.P. Dham and his team for organizing this workshop.

Earlier, CMS CCL Dr. R.R. Sinha expressed gratitude towards the specialist doctors during his welcome address. He said that Dr. Viswakarma, Dr. Sachdeva and Dr. Rajdhar have obliged us by joining this workshop. He thanked Director (Personnel) Shri R S Mahapatra for his guidance in organizing this workshop. While highlighting various aspects of this workshop, Dr. Sinha said that the workshop will benefit the participating medical practitioners from Ranchi and Coal India and its subsidiaries including CCL as they will get the latest information and experience on the given subjects which will eventually reach the patients through these doctors.

 Prior to this, Dr. Rajesh Vishwakarma, Dr. Rajdhar and CCL, Dr. Amaresh Prasad and Dr. Satya Prakash Ranjan informed about the activities, history, developments and technical aspects with respect to the discussed topic and medical profile of the patients to be operated. In the workshop, a total of 10 patients (5 ENT and 5 Bronchoscopy) were operated, which was broadcasted through live video. The participating physicians not only witnessed the operation but also were briefed out the latest developments in these fields by the medical experts. They also answered the queries raised by participating doctors
