CCL organizes Seminar on Medical Benefits for Retired Personnel

Central Coalfields Limited, a subsidiary of Coal India Ltd, organized a seminar on “benefits of medical services” to the retired executives and non-executives at Vichar Manch, Darbhanga House, Ranchi. About 250 retired personnel including former directors of different subsidiaries of Coal India attended a mega function. 

On this occasion, Chairman-cum-Managing Director, CCL Shri Gopal Singh, Director(Pers) Shri R S Mahapatro, three former Director(Pers) - Shri J N Singh,  Shri J K Choudhary and Shri B P Singh, CMS, CCL Dr. R R Sinha, GMs/HODs from different departments of headquarters, doctors from Gandhinagar Central Hospital and others dignitaries were present to grace the occasion.

While addressing the retired personnel, CMD, CCL Shri Gopal Singh said that you all are members of CCL extended families and always guided and motivated me to perform duties in the interest of the company. He also briefed them about upcoming portal i.e., Contributory Post Retirement Medical Scheme in which medical related information will be updated and one can brose from anywhere. Shri Singh also advised them to seek help of “Samadhan Kendra” and other platforms regarding redressal of their grievances. 

Similarly, Shri R S Mahapatro ensured them that similar programme will be held in future. He also said that your blessing motive us to perform better and launch new welfare schemes so that company plays a key role in transforming the society.  He also talked about stress and said this time of seminar help to release stress.

CMS, CCL Dr. R R Sinha gave a power point presentation highlighting benefits given to the retired officers and staff in the company. Shri J N Singh and others also addressed the gathering and applauded the efforts of management for improving medical benefits including process of medical bill.

A programme was compered by Dr. Veena Gupta, while vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. Manju Mishra. Medical Department of CCL played a key role in organizing the programme.
