Honourable Petroleum Minister inaugurated CCL Stall during Skill Summit 2018

Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, Hon’ble Minister Petroleum & Natural Gas and Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Govt of India on Friday inaugurated CCL’s  stall during Skill Summit 2018, Momentum Jharkhand at Hotwar Sports Complex, Ranchi. On this occasion, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Jharkhand ShriRaghubar Das, Director(Pers), CCL Shri R S Mahapatro and other dignitaries were present. Various companies participated in the exhibition during Skill Summit 2018.
Jharkhand Government has invited CCL to participate in the Skill Summit 2018, Momentum Jharkhand to showcase different technical training projects being implemented in the company for youths.
Under the able leadership of ShriGopal Singh, Chairman/CMD, CCL CCL has been running various schemes for different age groups under “Kayakalp Model” to impart technical training among youths and even “Employment Fair” was organized at CCL headquarters, Darbhanga House, Ranchi to provide jobs.
Director(Pers), CCL Shri R S Mahapatro briefed ShriDharmendraPradhan, ShriRaghubar Das and other dignitaries about various technical related training programmes carried out by the company.

CCL has been committed for capacity building of the Project Affected Persons (PAPs) and other stake holders for which training programmes are being conducted in Mining Sirdar at BTTI, Bhurkunda.25 candidates of SC/ST were selected for undergoing three years underground training in different mines of CCL for making them eligible for appearing in Mining Sirdar exam conducted by DGMS. Also 40 candidates of SC/ST are undergoing mines training for four years. The company has started an ITI in Electrician Trade from the session 2014-16 for the PAPs of CCL Command Areaof CCL at ITI, Bhurkunda. All the candidates of ITI candidates for the
sessions 2014-16 and 2015-17 have successfully completed the training programme and all of them are offered with employment by Jaikara Techno, an Associate of CUMMINS India Limited.


Similarly, Multi Skill Development Centre has opened at CETI, Barkakanaand it has been affiliated as a “Training Partner” of Skill Council for Mining Sector for the National Skill Certification.Six months certificate course for Welder and Electrician trades  are being conducted since February, 2015.Four batches of 189 candidates (92 in Welder Trade and 97 in Electrician Trade) have successfully completed their six month course and have been issued certificates from NSDC.
HRD department of CCL has organized Managerial Development Programme, Skill Development Programme, Skill Up-gradation Programme within company, through external agencies, overseas  to impart training in various subject matters to 46085 nos. of employees. 6774 nos. of employees have been imparted such training till  datein FY 2017-18.

Large number of visitors particularly job seekers visited CCL stall and took information about various training programmes carried out in the company.
