CCL celebrates September 17 as 'SewaDiwas'

Central Coalfields Limited(CCL)has celebrated September 17 as 'SewaDiwas' or Service Day by organizing a blood donation camp, plantation drive and distributing tri-cycles among 'Dibyang' in Ranchi and areas. 

Blood donation: Sri Gopal Singh, Chairman-cum-Managing Director, CCL inaugurated a blood donation camp at Gandhinagar Central Hospital, Ranchi in presence of S/Shri D K Ghosh, Director(Finance),  P K Tiwari, Director( Technical/Operations), Subir Chandra, Director(P&P), Arbind Prasad, Chief Vigilance Officer, GMs, doctors and others by cutting ribbon.  Altogether 12 persons including doctors and para-medical donated their blood to mark the "SevaDiwas." Dr. NanditaAgarwal, Dr. R RSinha, Dr. P K Gupta, Dr. K K Das and others were present to grace the occasion. 

Plantation of Saplings:CCL has been committed to protect the environment and on the occasion of 'SewaDiwas' Sri Arbind Prasad, Chief Vigilance Officer, CCL and doctors of Gandhinagar Hospital planted saplings on premises of the Hospital in presence of Sri Gopal Singh, Chairman-cum-Managing,CCL and directors. 

Distribution of tri-cycles among dibyang: CCL has been carrying out many CSR projects for its stakeholders to make CSR a key business process for sustainable development. Apart from carrying out education scheme, multi skill development centre etc. the company has set up Rehabilitation Centre for Differently abled Children at Dhori. Hon’ble MP from GiridihSri  RabindraPandey distributed 15 tri-cycles among dibyang in presence of Dhori GM Sri  M. KoteshwarRao, representatives of trade union and various stakeholders in Dhori(Bokaro) to mark “SewaDiwas."
