Inauguration of Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar Park at CCL Hqrs

Food Packets distributed to Covid patients and Blood donation camp organized.

On 17th September, Central Coalfields Ltd (CCL), a subsidiary of Coal India, witnessed various social activities including inauguration of Bharat Ratna Dr. B R Ambedkar Park. All the safety protocols adhering to Covid pandemic were observed while conducting various programe at CCL headquarters and hospitals. The attendees wore masks and maintained social distancing during the function. 

Dr Baba Saheb Ambedkar park was inaugurated at CCL Headquarter, Ranchi by Chairman-cum-Managing Director, CCL Shri PM Prasad. The park is dedicated to the architect of Indian Constitution Bharat Ratna Dr. Ambedkar and statue too has been installed in the park. Also sapling was planted by CMD Shri P.M. Prasad, Director Technical (Operations) Shri V.K Srivastava, CVO Shri S.K. Sinha and other dignitaries in the park.  On this occasion, TS/GM to CMD Sri M V Rajimwale, GM(P&IR) Shri Umesh Singh, TS to Dir (Pers) Sri Gunjan Kumar Sinha and other senior officials of headquarters including women. Also, office bearers and members of All India SC/ST/OBC Employees Co-ordination Council were present. 
 
On the special occasion of Vishwakarma Puja, CMD Shri PM Prasad worshipped Lord Vishwakarma at System Department, CCL Headquarters, Ranchi and wished everybody for prosperity. He stated that Vishwakarma Puja is an important day for all the industrial units of the company. 

Food packets were distributed among the Covid patients in the Central Hospital, Gandhinagar (Ranchi)and Ramgarh Hospital (Ramgarh district), where treatments are undergoing for Covid-19 infected persons.  Ninety-five free food packets were distributed among infected persons as well as indoor patients at CCL Gandhinagar Hospital and 54 in Ramgarh hospital, which falls under the command areas of CCL.  These two hospitals have been converted to Covid treatment center and doctors have successfully treated many infected persons. Food packets were also distributed in area hospitals of the company.

A blood donation camp was organized in Central Hospital Gandhinagar where 17 units of blood was collected. These blood units will be used for needy people as and when required.
 
Later in the day a team consisting of General Manager(P&IR) Shri Umesh Singh, Chief Manager (Pers.) Sri Abinash Srivastava, Sr. Manager (Admin) Shri Sanjay Kumar and others visited “Shanti Seva Sadan” at Ormanjhi, Ranchi (NH-33) and distributed 50 fruit baskets to the ladies living in the Sadan.
