The whole world is currently suffering from the devastating impact of Covid-19 pandemic. Not getting bogged by these challenging circumstances the Corona warriors of Central Coalfields Limited organized a medical camp at Lalkhatanga village in Namkum Panchayat of the Ranchi district. Sanitizers were provided to the elderly, ladies, children and the villagers and they were briefed about the various precautions that should be undertaken to battle this pandemic.

Under the leadership of its CMD, CCL Shri Gopal Singh, the company has been in the forefront of this fight against Coronavirus. The company through its various initiatives has undertaken a plethora of activities for the benefit of people.  Distribution of food packets to migrants, running of community kitchens, distribution of masks and sanitizers among the villagers speaks about the commitment of the company to this cause.

Free medications and consultation were provided to about 50 villagers including women participating in the camp. In this there were 20 children whose parents are daily wage laborer’s. The medical team of CCL encouraged the people to wear masks, follow social distancing norms, use sanitizers etc. to prevent oneself from Coronavirus.
