Eleven Coronavirus patients receiving treatment for Covid-19 at CCL Gandhinagar Hospital, Ranchi were discharged after they all recovered from the illness today. Gandhinagar Hospital is left with single Covid patient who is undergoing treatment under the supervision of the doctors.

 

The local administration has selected CCL Gandhinagar Hospital for treatment of Govid-19 patients in the state capital and this hospital of Central Coalfields Ltd(CCL) has become the first hospital in Coal India to treat such infected persons.

 

The patients were discharged after testing negative in consecutive two tests. These patients were being treated by the team of doctors and supported by paramedical staff of the hospital. The Ranchi-based patients on being discharged expressed their gratitude towards the medical team and praised them for their care and support. Before their discharge the doctors advised the patients on the different precautionary measures, they must undertake for their safety at home. The patients were given a rousing sendoff by the “Corona Warriors” and “Frontline Workers” comprising doctors, paramedics and others. Bouquets and gift hampers were given to them by the medical team at the hospital.

 

CMD, CCL Shri Gopal Singh acknowledged the efforts of these frontline Covid warriors who are working relentlessly to combat this pandemic. He expressed his gratitude towards all the doctors, paramedical personnel, sanitary employees and all the other employees for their exemplary contribution to the nation. He stated that all the guidelines announced by the government are being observed at the hospital. He expressed his gratitude to the state government for their continuous support. He reiterated that CCL is a responsible corporate citizens and has always fulfilled its responsibility towards the society. In this challenging period of Corona pandemic, the company has undertaken numerous measures including distribution of food grains, masks, sanitizers etc. for the welfare of the people.
