CCL’s Stellar Performance Continues Unabated 
Records 19% growth in Coal Production in month of June

Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) continued its stellar performance with 7.25 lakh tones coal production in the month of June, an unprecedented growth of 19%. At the same time, record double digit growth of 22% in Over Burden (OB) Removal was also registered. In spite of the fact that Lok Sabha election and enforcement of Model Code of Conduct, CCL’s outstanding performance in month of June has steered to a positive growth in the first quarter of the FY 2019-20.  CCL also registered positive growth of 3.3 % in Coal Dispatch and achieved of stock liquidation of 6 million tonnes in the first quarter (April-June 2019). 
It is to be noted that CCL continued its spectacular performance in the last financial year 2018-19, with highest ever coal production of 68.7 Million Tonne (MT). This was an increase of 8% compared to the financial year 2017-18. CCL also registered coal dispatch of 68.3 MT coal, breaking all previous records. In addition to the above, FY 2018-19, also witnessed total capital expenditure of Rs 1100 Cr, thus achieving its target.
