Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) started off it's this years  World Environment Day Celebration with Spot Painting and Essay Competition. The competition was organised at CCL HQ , Darbhanga House. The topic of the competition was the theme of this year’s World Environment Day i.e. “Beat Air Pollution”. Similar programmes were held at all the areas across CCL.

Competition program witnessed active participation of children. Around 110 children enthusiastically participated in the competition. There were three groups i.e. Group A – from prep to Class II, Group B- from class- III to VI, Group C- from class- VII onward. 

The prize-distribution ceremony will be held on 04.06.2019 at 5:30 PM in Vichar Manch. It is to be noted that World Environment Day is celebrated on 5th June to promote awareness and action for environmental issues faced by the global community. World Environment Day was celebrated way back in 1974. This year's theme is "Beat Air Pollution".
