Chairman-cum-Managing Director, Central Coalfields Limited(CCL) Shri Gopal Singh paid homage to martyred soldier Vijay Soreng at Birsa Munda Airport, Ranchi on Saturday. The body of martyred Vijay Soreng was flown to Ranchi before being sent home in Gumla district of Jharkhand.  Shri Singh on behalf of CCL families placed a wreath on a platform placed before the coffin carrying the mortal remains of the CRPF Jawan.  Others also laid wreaths one by one in a solemn ceremony.

CMD referring Albert Ekka said that Jharkhand is the land of supreme sacrifice but it is our moral duty to ensure future life of Vijay Soreng’s families including children. He said that the entire country including Jharkhand have sympathy with the family of Vijay Soreng. He further said that CCL team will visit home of Vijay Soreng in Gumla and the company is committed to extend necessary support.
