CMD CCL welcomes a new Director (Technical) Shri Bhola Singh
Area- Headquarter, Posted on- 21-01-2019
Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) organized a welcome function of Shri Bhola Singh for joining CCL family as Director (Technical) at Vichar Manch, CCL Darbhanga House, Ranchi today. However, he joined the company on 15th January, 2019.
Born in January 1964, Shri Singh completed B Tech (Hons) in Mining Engineering from IIT, Kharagpur. Shri Singh is a seasoned professional mining engineer with 31 years of experience in reputed public and private company sector organizations. Before joining CCL, Shri Singh has his credit to work as Project Director at Reliance Power’s prestigious Sasan Power Limited, Madhya Pradesh. Shri Singh started his career from Northern Coalfields Ltd, a subsidiary of Coal India, in 1987 where he joined as Graduate Engineer Trainee.
As a rich tradition of CCL, new Director (Technical) was welcomed by CMD CCL Shri Gopal Singh, Director (Technical/Oprns) Shri V K Srivastava and Chief Vigilance Officer Shri A K Srivastava by presenting bouquets to him.
General Managers/Head of the Departments from CCL headquarters along with others employees were present to grace the occasion.
Addressing a packed hall, CMD Shri Gopal Singh said that Shri Bhola Singh has vast experience in PSUs as well as private firms particularly in coal industry. He further said that CCL will be benefitted from his vast experience and will meet aspiration of each employee of the company.
Appreciating the profile of new Director, Shri Gopal Singh said that a new bench-mark will be set up by the company in the field of innovations under Shri Bhola Singh. He further urged him that there is much scope in the company on reducing consumption of explosive, find out substitute of diesel and produce clean energy with minimum cost so that stakeholders get electricity at low cost.
Director (Technical/Oprns) Shri V K Srivastava in his address said that after joining of Shri Bhola Singh, there is full board of CCL. He further expressed that company will be benefitted from new Director and meet energy requirement of the Nation.
Addressing the gathering, CVO Shri A K Srivastava said that the company has excellent manpower and they perform remarkably well during the crisis. He further said that the company has culture of working as a team.
The Newly appointed Director Shri Bhola Singh in his address said that he believes in participative theory where each employee can contribute with his knowledge and experience and give their best. He talked about the survival of the fittest in the competitive world and taking calculative risk while performing the official works. The new Director also talked about positive thought and attitude to accomplish the work.
The programme was compared by Sr. Manager (Fin) Shri A D Wadhwa, who read the profile of Shri Bhola Singh. Welcome address was delivered by GM (Admn) Shri Bimlendu Kumar and vote of thanks was proposed by GM (P-IR) Shri Umesh Singh.
