CIL/CCL Foundation Day concludes, CCL is geared up to produce 100 MT Coal by Next FY- CMD CCL

Coal India Limited/ Central Coalfields Limited Foundation Day on Saturday concluded at Khelgoan Sports Complex, Hotwar, Ranchi by recognizing individual as well as collective effects of employees from all areas and headquarters for meeting energy requirement of Nation. CCL celebrated the CIL/CCL Foundation Day with great enthusiasm on 1st November, 2018.
On the occasion of closing ceremony, CMD CCL Shri Gopal Singh, Director(Pers) Shri R S Mahapatro, Director(Tech/Oprns) Shri A K Mishra, Director (P&P) Shri V K Srivastava, Hon’ble members of JCSC and Welfare Board, Area General Managers, General Mangers/HODs from headquarters, Sports cadets of JSSPS and other stakeholders were present. Shri Gopal Singh was the Chief Guest of closing ceremony. President of Arpita Club Smt Pramila Singh, Smt. Sunita Mahapatro, Smt. Poonam Mishra and Smt. Archna Srivastava was also present to grace the occasion.
A mega prize distribution ceremony was organized in which employees of CCL from areas as well as headquarters were awarded for their exemplary performance in their respective fileds by CMD CCL, Directors and Members of JCSC, Welfare Board and other dignitaries.
Appreciating individual as well as collective efforts of employees, CMD CCL Shri Gopal Singh said that CCL is not only going to achieve this year fiscal target but is also preparing ground for next financial year (2019-20) of 100 Million Tonnes (MT). CCL has always led by example whether it is coal production or social transformation. He expressed his gratitude towards all the stakeholders particularly the project affected families and villagers who has given their land for various new Greenfields projects that has been started off recently. Shri Singh said that it is collective efforts of each and every stakeholder that CCL has achieved new heights in recent years. He asked everyone to think beyond coal production and contribute towards social transformation.
Shri R S Mahapatro, Shri A K Mishra and Shri V K Srivastava congratulated the prize winners and asked everyone to be ready for the challenges to meet the coal demand of the country. The programme was organized by GM (Oprns), GM (Admn) and their team.
