Jharkhand State Sports Promotion Society (JSSPS) won winning trophy of 2nd CCL Inter School Invitational Football Tournament 2018 by defeating Central Academy, Bariatu by 2-0. Altogether 18 teams have participated in the five-day(5-9 Oct) tournament and all matches were played at Mahatama Gandhi Kridangan, CCL Gandhinagar Colony( Kanke Road). CCL under the leadership of CMD CCL Shri Gopal Singh has been organizing various tournaments to promote sports among budding players and its organized by Sports Deptt. 

GM/TS to Dir(Pers)/GM(legal), CCL Shri P. Bhattacharjee was the Chief Guest of the closing ceremony.  Former international player Shri Prakash Mihra, Chief of the technical committee Shri Om Prakash Tahakur, members of Lions Club, Sports(Manager) Adil Hussain and other dignitaries were present to grace the occasion. 

It was the toughest match of the tournament as none of the team was able to score goal against each other in the first half of the match. However, two goals were netted in the last minutes of the final match. Avinash Munda of JSSPS gave a brilliant pass to his collage, Koushik Das on 57th minutes and later was able to score fist goal for his team. Koushik Das scored second another goal on 60th minutes when penalty was awarded by referee Vikram Oraon due to handball. 

Altogether five players were awarded for their individual performance and three players were from JSSPS- Koushik Das(Man of the final), Ashish Kumar Mahto(best goal keeper) and Avinash Munda(best scorer).  Ravi Ranjan as well as Kirtimay of Central Academy was given best defender and player of the tournament respectively. In addition to it, individual players of winning as well as runner team were give individual prizes. Also prizes were given in other various categories.
