CMD, CCL ShriGopal Singh on Saturdayfelicitated parents of such students of “CCL KeLal and Ladli” whose wards cracked national-level IIT examinations as well as motivated current batch IIT aspirant students, who are studying in DAV Gandhinagar in 11th and 12th class.

CCL has been carried out various welfare schemes in the Jharkhand State under “Kayakalp Model of Governance” under the able leadership of CMD CCL ShriGopal Singh and “CCL keLal and Ladli” is one of such new initiatives. Under this scheme, the company has been providing opportunities to the talented, hardworking and meritorious students of the state. Students are selected after 10th class on merit basis and are provided free-coaching for engineering examinations, schooling, lodging and boarding by CCL.

In addition to CMD, Director(Pers) Shri R S Mahapatro, Jitendra Kumar, Akhilesh Kumar, NamanShrivastava, AnubhavKhare, Om Prakash and DevPrakash Singh- all are teaching faculty, who themselves are passouts from IIT. CMD lauded efforts of all faculties who teach students of CCL KeLal&Laadli apart from performing company’s routine work.  During the programme, few parents like ShriPhuleswarSahu, Suresh Kumar Rai, Harendra Kr Singh and others expressed their gratitude for implementing “CCL keLal and CCL KeLadliYojna” designed for meritorious students of the state. 

Addressing the parents, Shri Singh said that you have inculcated good culture since childhood among your  childrenthat led them to be selected in CCL’s scheme-“CCL KeLal and Ladli.” He further urged the parents to develop good habits among their children as each of them has potential to crack IIT. Talking to IIT aspirants, Shri Singh said that God has given all of you immense potential to crack any national-level examination and you should honour your parents by cracking IIT exams. He further said that children of Jharkhand have immense potential and they are proving in sports fields at national level competitions. He narrated the example of JSSPS sports cadets, who won individual trophies in the national-level competition in wrestling that was held in Delhi recently by defeating players of Punjab and Harayana state.

Parents of such CCL keLal and Ladli were felicitated whose sons and daughters have cracked IIT examinations. Two caretakers of CCL keLal and Ladli- ShriDevashish and Sahina were felicitated.
