CCL felicitates Retired Employees

Altogether 09 employees including four executives posted at Central Coalfields Ltd (CCL)’s headquarters, Darbhanga House, Ranchi superannuated from their services on 31st August, 2018. However, they were given warm farewell at a function held in ‘Vichar Manch’ Darbhanga House, Ranchi.  

The retired employees were: -

2. Praveen Kumar Sinha, GM (Excv.), Department -  S & IC

3. Kailah Prasad Sharma, GM (C.P), Department -  WS/CP

4. Aditya Nath Jha, GM (Excavation), Department -  CCMC

5. Sarojini Kerketta, Matron-Grade-A, Department -  GNH

6. Samir Kumar Dey, OS-A1, Department -  EE

7. Adiyta Kumar Benerjee, Sr. PA-A1, Department -  TA

8. Ram Prasad Chatterjee, Accountant-A1, Department -  Fin (HQ)

9. Shyam Sundar Kar, Accountant-A1, Department -  Fin (HQ)


CMD, CCL, Sri Gopal Singh handed over Thanks Giving Letter, Service Certificate, cheque documents of gratuity, pension papers, medical cards, religious books, Yoga CD, saplings, dinner sets etc., to the superannuated employees. As per the existing practice, CMPF amount will be transferred through RTGS into the account of respective retired employees.

Employees, who have superannuated in areas, were also given farewell in their respective areas. Total 153 employees including headquarters have retired from their service in August, 2018. 

Chief Guest Shri Gopal Singh, while giving best wishes to the retiring personnel during the function encouraged them to share their experiences among the youth, family and society, so that society can move forward in a positive way. Mr. Singh emphasized that we will move forward with the same vigor and enthusiasm that you have infused in the company with your hard work and passion and take the company to new heights. Mr. Singh asked everyone to learn from senior retired members of the CCL family and to work with efficiency and vision.

Shri R S Mahapatro in his address to the retired employees said that you all have gained respect and love from the colleagues due to devotion and dedication for the company. He wished for the bright future and healthy life of the retired employees.

On this occasion, all the retiring employees shared their personal experience and acknowledged support and affection, which they got from the company during their service period. Retiring employees said that they will carry their fond memories of long association with company and all of them wished that the company keeps achieving new benchmarks in future.

The programme was co-ordinate by Ms Rashmi Dayal, GM (Welfare) and vote of thanks was proposed by Shri A K Singh, GM (EE). The programme was successfully conducted by the Welfare department.
