Apex Corporate Programme for Senior Executives of CCL Concludes, CCL to start skill promotion program for Captains of Village Football team in collaboration with `Art of Living` Foundation

The three-day (6th -8th July) Apex Corporate Programme for Senior Executives of Central Coalfields Limited(CCL) for self improvement, team building and mental harmony at Khelgoan Sports Complex, Hotwar, Ranchi concluded today.
The programme was organized on the initiative of CMD, CCL Shri Gopal Singh, to horn the leadership qualities, encourage team bonding and to keep oneself calm and composed while facing day to day challenges among the senior executives.
CMD Shri Gopal Singh along with Functional Directors, Chief Vigilance Officer and 22 General Managers(GMs), from CCL headquarters and command areas aprticpated in the program under the guidance of Shri Shri Balvinder Chandok and Shri Shri Rohit Sikka from apex team of "Art of Living" Foundation, Bengaluru. The participants through various activities, quizzes, debate, presentation, audio-video aid learnt the importance of harnessing team bondage, self introspection, keeping calm and controlled mind, consistent performance, etc and ways to enhance it.
Expressing his gratitude, CMD CCL Shri Gopal Singh thanked Shri Shri Balvinder Chandok and Shri Shri Rohit Sikka, for the incredible time and amazing experience during the three day program. The program will definitely help the participants to enhance their performance and help them to be mentally calm and yet strong to face the day to day challenges, Shri Singh added. He said that, outcome of the program has inspired us to carry out our philanthropic work with more vigour and asked the participants to share the positives of this program with as many people as possible. He further added that henceforth these types of program will be held for CCL employees at regular interval.

Skill Promotion Programme for Captains of Village Football team organized
Also on this occasion a programme for skill promotion of captains of village football team from CCL Command Areas wherein Sri Sri Balvinder Chandok from "Art of Leaving" guided these youngsters with respect attain better control of mind, grow better balance between body and mind and to give cent percent in each and every task we perform. He said that as captain you have to bear the responsibility of not only leading your team but also lead the society on the path of growth and development. Sri Sri Balvinder also taught them some breathing exercises for better mental control and harmony.
Addressing the captains, CMD Shri Gopal Singh said that CCL is committed for the inclusive growth of society. He said that CCL is drawing a road map for skill promotion of young football captain to impart vocational and technical training in line with their interest to make them self reliant through self employment. The company will start from football captains, who will be the agent of change in their villages. The program will scaled up with help of "Art of Leaving" foundation.
GM( HRD) Shri G S Bhatti and his team comprising of Chief Manager(Pers) Shri S Bakshi, Sr. Manager(Mining) Shri A K Singh, Sr Manager (Sports) Shri Adil Hussain, Manager(Pers) Shri JBR Kujur and others co-ordinated the programme.
