On the occasion of fortnightly celebration of CCL/CIL Foundation day and Children’s Day a free “Mega Children’s Health Camp” was organized at CCL’s “Jan Arogya Kendra”, Gandhinagar on Monday. The health camp was inaugurated by CMD, CCL Sri Gopal Singh’s wife and President of Arpita Lady Club, Smt Pramila Singh. Also present on the occasion were Director (Pers), CCL’s wife Smt Sunita Mahapatro and other guests. In the health camp Children from in and around Ranchi took benefit from free check-up and received free medicines too. In the health camp different medical specialist like, Orthopedic, Pediatrician, Gynecologist, Ophthalmologist, Dentist, etc. treated more than 310 Children. Also arrangements were made for free Vaccination, Pathological Tests, X-Ray etc for the benefit of the children. 

Chief Guest of the “Mega Children’s Health Camp” Smt Pramila Singh congratulated CCL’s team for organization of the camp. She said that complete medical facilities for checkup of children have been made available in the health camp. She added that children are future of our country and we are trying to lay down a solid foundation by providing best possible medical to these children. CCL will be organizing this camp every year during fortnightly celebration of CCL/CIL foundation day, she said. 

Speaking on the occasion Smt Sunita Mahapatro said that this camp is small gift to children on Children’s Day from CCL. The first step towards a progressive society starts from a healthy child and therefore this camp holds a significant importance.

Smt. Pramila Singh along with Smt. Sunita Mahapatro inspected the camp and interacted with the children in the Health Camp. They also motivated the parents to take benefit of the medical facilities made available to them by CCL. 

The health camp was coordinated by CMS In-charge, Dr P K Gupta, Dr R R Sinha, Dr C P Dham, and other Doctors from Central Hospital Gandhinagar, CCL command areas and Rani Children Hospital, Ranchi.
