Central Coalfields Limited on Monday observed "Rashtriya Ekta Diwas" on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel at Darbhaga House CCL. He was the architect of united India and played an instrumental role in the India’s independence struggle.

On this occasion CMD, CCL, Sri Gopal Singh administered the "Unity Pledge". All the officers and employees took oath to ensure "National Unity, Integrity and Security of the Nation" and “to spread this message of national unity among the fellow citizen”. Shri Singh along with Directors, CVO and all the employees also paid floral tribute to Sadar Patel. Addressing the employees, CMD, Sri Singh said we at CCL are making all the efforts to ensure that vision of Sardar Patel i.e. strong and developed India is realized. He added that, we should learn from the works of Sardar Patel and should tread the path shown by him. 

It is known that 31st Oct is birth anniversary of first Home Minister of independent India, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, which has been declared as National Unity Day. Thus the day was celebrated at CCL HQ and all its areas.   

On the occasion Director (Finance) Shri D K Ghosh, Director (Personnel) Sri R S Mahapatro Director (Technical/Operation) Sri Subir Chabdra, CVO, Sri Arbind Prasad along with General Managers/HoDs of different departments and all the employees were present on the occasion.
