Sri R S Mahapatro, Director(Pers.), Central Coalfields Limited and Sri Rakesh Kumar Sinha, Special Secretary, Department of Labour, employment, Training & Skill development, Govt. of Jharkhand in presence of the Hon’ble Minister Sri Raj Paliwar signed Memorandum of Agreement for operation, maintenance and management of ITI, Itkhori at Nepal House, Ranchi on Friday. CCL has undertaken this project under its CSR activities. 

Department of Labour, employment, Training & Skill development, Govt. of Jharkhand has started upgradation, operation and maintenance  of ITIs  under CSR  and entrusted the industry members of the State CSR Council  to adopt the ITIs as their CSR obligation. CCL being one of the industry members of the said council has been entrusted with the adoption of the ITI at Itkhori, Chatra.

The decision regarding up gradation, operation and maintenance of ITI, Itkhori by CCL through its CSR initiative, was taken up in the meeting held on 7.7.15 under Chairmanship of Chief Secretary, Govt. of Jharkhand. The building of the industrial technical institute has been constructed by the Govt. of Jharkhand and is ready for handing over to CCL for running ITI.  The company to procure necessary infrastructure along with furniture & fitting, equipments for running the ITI successfully.

It has been decided that technical training will be given in 3 traits i.e. Electrician, Motor Mechanic and Computer Hardware & network maintenance.

Altogether sixty three youths will be enrolled i.e. 21 in each trade belonging to poor families, SC&ST community , PAPs and others.

The project is meant for promoting skill development among the youths of the area by opening new and better avenues for their employment / self employment and creates an environment of learning in the state. On this occasion, Sri Rajiv Gupta, GM CSR, Sri Alok Gupta, Sri Amirta Narayan, Miss Sweta. Miss Nikita and others were present.
