Central Coalfields Ltd (CCL) has always seen itself as a responsible organization which is commuted to work for the holistic development of the country and society both. Under the CSR programme CCL has been continuously working for the upliftment of the poor and downtrodden. One such scheme among many, under its CSR initiative is “CCL Ke Lal”. In this scheme, free educational support along with boarding and lodging facilities to meritorious students of economically weaker section from Project Affected Areas (PAPs), Rural Jharkhand, CCL Command Areas is being provided to give them opportunity to compete and do justice to their talent.  

Eight Students from 2014-16 batch have got admission in the prestigious engineering colleges across India. 1) Aditya Mittal, ISM Dhanbad 2) Ganesh Kumar, NIT Trichi 3) Subhaam Gaurav, NIT Jamshedpur 4) Sudhanshu Kuamar, NIT Jamshedpur 5) Mohit Jha, NIT Jamshedpur 6) Nikhil Kumar, NIT Jamshedpur 7) Sanjay Sahu, BIT Meshra 8) Shayan Mukherjee, BIT Mesra, 

These students are not only provided best possible facilities but quality coaching by the five experience and knowledgeable engineers/officers of CCL-  Sri S C Vishwakarma, Sri S L Ghosh, Sri Jitendra Kumar, Sri Akhilesh Kumar and Sri N. Srivastava. These officers conduct regularly classes for these students after office hour and even on Sundays and other holidays.
